How we help

We team with other ministry partners to help improve quality of life through missions projects that vary from construction to providing food and fellowship.  Construction projects range from small jobs (painting and weatherizing homes) to larger projects (roofing, siding, sheetrock and new construction of a small home, a Sunday school classroom, or a church sanctuary). We coordinate projects for all sizes of mission groups and budgets.

Impoverished communities are in urgent need of relief and development.  Border towns are marginalized by governments and local authorities. We seek partners who want to help take part in community development and transformation. We invite you to join the many churches that are already working in the border towns with Hearts4Kids.

We also help plant churches. We believe wholeheartedly that church planting is the work of the Holy Spirit working through the church.

Churches plant churches. Our people are cared for and reached with the love of Christ in areas where there is very little or no religious activities. When people receive assistance and are contacted, relationships are created and people are receptive to the gospel because of relational evangelism. Today we are empowering local churches and ministries to begin the process of organic church plants. We seek “mother churches” to adopt these church plants for spiritual and infrastructural support. If you are interested in listening our our current opportunities to engage with local church plant, please contact Jorge Zapata at 956-873-1537.

Our partners include BGCT/Texas Baptists, Children Hunger Fund, Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of Texas, First Baptist Church of San Isidro, Hispanic Baptist Convention (Convencion), Iglesia Vino Nuevo of San Carlos, New Wine Church/La Feria, Park Cities Baptist Church of Dallas and The Crossing Church of Mesquite.
